VS unisystem

Post by dXtr »

(didn't want to offend anyone so I posted it here instead of hardware section)

I recently obtained a VS unisystem I think.. (read on and you get what I mean) but in some notes in the manual it says something like (bad swedish to english translation):
"this system is from the begining intended to be used with two monitors (VS DUAL SYSTEM). And b/c of that there is double set of all controllers, video-out, coin slots, and so on. Therefore you should use the pins on the contact that starts with a 's'. for example s coin 1."

and the point I wanted to come to is: do I have a dualsystem or a unisystem? what is the difference between those two? I've tried to google for pics of them both but didn't really find any.

and another thing.. I've read that Duck Hunt existed for this arcade board.. I just wonderd if anyone have any pics of this system and how it looked (mostly intrested in the controller part)

I hope someone can answear any of this :)
Sorry for misspellings, I'm from Sweden ^^

The VS Dualsystem should have 2 CPUs and 2 PPUs on the board.

ah ok. then I guess it's a unisystem after all

I would love to see some pics of it when you've picked it up :D
especially of the connection part and wiring. what I'm hoping is that
I in some way could use a zapper or something connected to my system to play those games too :)
