Went through the Project Plug'n Play and ripped a ton of NSFs from it. More to come soon, hopefully.

Does anyone care to try Super Mario Club for Famicom Network System?

I found how to get it playing its music in FCEUX:
  1. Use Game Genie code AENYONUY
  2. Write these values to RAM location $91 to start each song:
    • $01
    • $02
    • $04
    • $08 (quiet)
    • $10 ($08 skipping intro)
    • $48 (louder version of $08)
    • $50 ($48 skipping intro)
Video of it working (without $48 and $50 which I just found now as I wrote this post):
https://youtu.be/k5BeA1vM3AU
With sound effects and $48:

Description in video contains all the resources needed for this.

There is also JRA-PAT, but I have not yet figured out how to coax the music to play for that one. JRA-PAT contains at least 1 song and it is pretty nice quality.

Edit:
I find there is also sound effects when writing to RAM location $90:
  • $01
  • $02
  • $04
  • $08

Edit 2:
I figured out how to get JRA-PAT playing its music. I put a video and details how to do it in the video description:

Rewrote DPCM table, and deleted unnecessary parts.

Thank you! How did you get the last sound effect (track #25) in JRA-PAT? I never heard that sound effect before.

In Super Mario Club, I found that music bytes #$08 and #$10, when OR'd with #$40 (i.e. #$48 and #$50) would play a louder version of the song. Do you think this is just a glitch or are they a legit alternative?

For JRA-PAT I was just playing with the RAM addresses.
I would assume that it is a pause sfx, since Wario's Woods also for some reason stored a pause sound effect on a specific RAM init address.
For SMC, I don't know for sure, someone should verify once the emulation for it is done, that if the louder variations appear ingame or not.

Attached is an updated Seirei Gari with one missing song and two missing jingles added back in.

(Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to include attachment filenames in a thread search, so I have no idea if this fix has already been done)

Yes, it was fixed long ago, not to mention I rewrote the initalization code, because the old one was a mess.
