how to generate this sound in NT2?

Post by Owsiak » Sun Jun 26, 2005 7:06 am

hey! One day I found this flash: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/rgb.php and I tried to compose this music in NT2 but I couldn't find the correct sound :( Does anybody know how to generate these type of sounds in NT2?

If you're trying for the warbly chord effect, it's called arpeggio. Try setting arpeggio X to 4 (major third above root) and arpeggio Z to 7 (perfect fifth above root).

You won't be able to reproduce the sound exactly because it's a C=64 SID tune, and the SID has a few filters that the NES doesn't.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! This is EXACTLY what I meant. Only setting arpeggio Z to perfect fifth satisfies me 8)

Is there a way to get rid of this person who keeps posting about pills? Man, I'm sure there are other forums that rank higher on Google for this guy to spam.

Have a moderator change all links to online pharmacies to point to Dr. Mario for GBA.

Haha, yeah that's too funny. I added that to the forum's word censor, changes it to Dr.Mario automatically now. :D
