This existed prior to the update; You'll want to disable these extra channels if the game you're playing doesn't support them.

From what I gather, enabling these is like switching to an input on a stereo amplifier that doesn't have anything plugged into it, you'd just get ambient electrical signals.

Oh, OK! Makes sense. I'll just enable the ones for the particular game I'm playing instead of going hog wild and checking all the boxes. :P

I see three counts of "I don't want this feature so nobody probably does".

I'm not saying nobody uses those features, I'm speculating that less people use HQX than standard interpolation. And non-aligned scanlines, I'm not even sure why that's a thing, so I can see where that suggestion came from.

Can anyone test FDS Metroid on their Hi-Def NES? Apparently the most recent update to the Analogue Nt Mini, also designed by Kevtris using his FPGA design, may have silenced the door opening sound. Kevtris asked about it on the AtariAge page dedicated to the Nt Mini. The firmware upgrade fixed the FDS sound in Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa, but there may be a regression somewhere.

Here is the report : http://atariage.com/forums/topic/242970 ... ?p=3755991

Hello,
I got my PAL NES HDMI-Modded. On firmware version 2.25, i had that known glitchy video problem, which perfectly got resolved by version 3.00/3.01. But now after running the console for 10 to 20 minutes, the video gets a huge mess. A flickery pixel garbage is left on the screen. However, the OSD of the HDMI-Mod is displayed correctly. Does anyone know how to solve that? Has anyone got the same problems?

My NES got the following ICs:
CPU: RP2A07 0EL 38
PPU: RP2C07-0 0GL 3W

Thanks!

Hi Kevtris - having a bit of trouble trying to upgrade my H-def NES from 2.25 to the new 3.01 firmware. I'm using an official Everdrive N8 with v15 OS. The Hi-Def NES upgrade ROM launches fine, I see it waiting for a request. But every time I try to run the Firmware Update routine in the Hi-Def NES settings it returns "Firmware integrity failure or no update cart." I've tried using a different SD card, re-seating the cartridge, etc...no luck. All games I've tried play fine.

Any ideas on things I could check/try?

Thanks

So I saved the update like a NES game ROM in a folder and I did the update via the update menu in the Hi Def NES, not by starting the update like a game. Is that what you're doing?

Having the same exact problem using a Powerpak that I just bought to do this update. Still stuck on 2.25 :(

Any ideas on how to update?
