Need help from someone that has a sharp twin famicom

Post by ZeldaWW »

hi all

i bought a sharp twin famicom. it works but the console is missing the plastic tab and jumper cable on the bottom side. (near the video output on the bottom side of the console)

the cable connects the floppy disc with the nes pcb.

i need someone that can take high resolution pictures of the jumpere cable or if there are some schematics of the cable so i can build my own cable. its just a cable with lots of pins and i need to make my own sadly.

pictures i found online dont help to know what connects what

Here are some images and a connection diagram. The tabs are facing downwards on the Twin when connected, of course. The D connector has 2 wires looping back into other pins.

The connectors (C & D) each have numbers embossed on them, but they're somewhat hard to see.

Code: Select all

"C" conn on Twin / "D" conn on Twin

1 (Green) 5
2 (Blue) 6
3 (Purple) 7
4 (Grey) 8
5 (White) 9
6 (Black) 10
7 (Pink) 11
8 (Olive Green) 12
9 (Brown1) 13
10 (Magenta1) 14
11 (Brown2) 1
12 (Magenta2) 2
