This is pinout for the Sunsoft mapper:
http://wiki.nesdev.com/w/index.php/Sunsoft_5_pinout
Every pin has a letter in a bracket. I assume that it goes:
n - connected to a cartridge slot
r - connected to a ROM (PRG or CHAR)
w - connected to a WRAM
s - ?
What does (s) stand for?

I think the S stands for shared.
Either way it means the pin is connected to both the cart connector and memories.

Re: Sunsof FME-7 pinout description
So what is the difference between (rn) and (s)?
Re: Sunsof FME-7 pinout description
It appears all (s) are input, and all (rn) are output. The only (rn) pin is A10, which in this mapper goes to both the CHR ROM and the VRAM in the Control Deck.
Re: Sunsof FME-7 pinout description
So we should probably copy the pinout legend to every page? Probably a good use for a template.
I should probably also get rid of the "s" marker and just explicitly replace it with all the connectivity, since I'd started doing that on other wiki pinouts.

Yea, the MMC3 Pinout from the Wiki does not have "S" but "NRW" instead for example.
Same with MMC1, except this one has the pinout legend.

Thanks for the clarification!
