Well, while attempting to install Tim Worthington's RGB mod, specifically desoldering the PPU, I seemed to have damaged the trace on the board to the pin that the diagram in the link I have placed at the bottom of this post is labeled "CPU D0".

My question is, as long as I didn't damage an neighboring traces, could I just use an insulated thin copper wire to directly wire it to the correspondingly labeled pin on the CPU? Or does that trace lead elsewhere as well as to the D0 pin on the CPU?

Thanks in advance for any and all help, and apologies if this is not the correct section for this type of question.

EDIT: I should include the fact that I am using the AV Famicom model, the motherboard has a Nintendo Copyright 1995 labeling on the board itself.

You are correct! CPU D0 on the PPU can safely be connected to CPU D0 on the CPU.

There are other places you could also use: The expansion port, the 74'368s for the controller ports, the CPU RAM. Make sure that whatever trace you broke hasn't divided this net into multiple disconnected bits.
