I have a few perfectly working controllers I have removed from a HVC-001 and that I want to use on my NES-001 and HVC-101.
I've searched the forums but haven't found anything about this.
EDIT:
Through the internet I have found this: https://www.raphnet.net/electronique/fa ... dex_en.php
Which is to plug a zapper or controllers that have that particular port plug.
What I want to do is to build an adapter from what I show in the picture, to plug this in a NES.
Does anyone know any project?
Thanks!

Re: Famicom controller in a NES
I did this but the other way around, hooking up the ends of extension chords to my Sharp Twin Famicom inplace of the regular controllers. So instead of those short wired controllers sticking out the back I have regular NES extension chords.
But why would you want to hook up an internal Famicom controller to an NES? The chords are really short and the connector is not really well suited for being accidentally pulled every now and then. If it's for looks you could just switch casing with an NES controller.
If you want to be able to hook up third party controllers that use the 15-pin connectors you can make an adapter for that using a neogeo and an NES extension chord. Here's a schematic for that:

The easiest way is to get a US NES pad and remove the pcb with the cable attached and put them in the famicom pad casing.
Re: Famicom controller in a NES
I have also used the wire diagram posted above to make controller adapters. I did it primarily to use NES controllers on a Famicom, but it works the other way around as well. Just grab some NES controller extension cables off eBay or the like, they're usually pretty cheap. Then just cut off one end and wire it on to your Famicom controllers. And doing it this way, you wont have to worry about the short wire length of the Famicom controllers.

Re: Famicom controller in a TWIN FAMICOM
Hi, I just bought a 15 pin controller to connect it to the right side of my twin famicom, the problem I have is that the controller works perfectly in the everdrive menu, however it does not work when loading games. Anyone know why? tnx
