In the second image, the first several kanji are the numbers 1 to 10, then 0 (as a circle).

If you can translate the rest on that page, they might actually be the entire set of kanji for the whole game. It's interesting there is so little hiragana text in this game.

You can try looking them up here, by picking smaller symbols (radicals) out of the kanji to look them up: http://jisho.org/kanji/radicals/
Alternatively you can try to look them up by drawing them, but this can be difficult if you don't know how the strokes generally go: http://kanji.sljfaq.org/

There pictures are written many Terminology of Sumo.
You should make reference to a document that describes sumo in English .
I do not recommend that one character at a time examining the Kanji. May also have one meaning a combination of a plurality of characters are Kanji characters. This tendency is stronger and it is jargon.

For example, 「ごっつあんです」 means "Thank you". Only wrestler to use this word, ordinary Japanese say 「ありがとう」

I don't think you'll be able to fit any of the wrestlers' names on the screen with letters that big. (Assuming you can figure out what they are - many of them have multiple possible pronunciations, and I don't know which ones are correct.)

Good luck fitting names like "Chichiguroyama" or "Daiman no Umi" in four characters.

These characters are the numbers 0 through 10: 〇一二三四九六七八九十

I already explained that the first 11 characters on the second screen you posted are numbers. Was it not clear?

What are you expecting? Several of us have already offered advice on how to go about this.

If you have been working on it and having trouble, let us know what the problem is and maybe we can help.

If you want one of us to just translate it for you, well, translation is work, and you're the one interested in that project, not us. Sorry. Maybe you'd have better luck on a forum about learning Japanese?

If the issue is purely with translation (and yes what others have said about sumou is correct -- there is a somewhat unique language/terminology aspect to sumou that's different than "common everyday" Japanese), then you might consider asking for a translator over on the romhack.net board. Lots of people doing romhacking projects ask for translators, it's not uncommon, but the translator has to either a) have vested personal interest in the game/project, b) be paid, or c) both. So just keep that in mind.
