Yes the slowdown is still there with the mouse over the window. It's a 50% slowdown now. Frame rate is cut from 60fps to 30. No dumping or loading graphics just playing it at 4x. 1x is a 5-10fps slowdown and 2x is a 10-15fps loss. I'm thinking it's a Windows 8 (and hence Windows Technical Preview) problem.

Anyone else have this slowdown on Windows 7 or lower?

So it got worse? I'll update the SDL version to 2.0 in the next release to see if that helps.

I was not able to properly record video (framerate, etc).
If someone record it, I will be happy.
P.S.
It would be nice to add certain functions to record video in the emulator.

I'm not sure. I downgraded my graphics card from a GTX 660 to a GTX 460 so that could be the reason.

BTW has lua scripting been suggested or considered? FCEUX has it and it can help expand games without ips patching.
Here's an example of a lua script in action on Metroid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp2KV8_wXtA

That is very impressive! I learnt about LUA for TAS but I didn't know it can be this powerful. I'm thinking of a graphics specific script instead. The emulator with run it once per scanline and it will work on the tiles instead of drawing directly on the screen.

Nuts & Milk looks great. I need to ink in all my Mario drawings sometime. I never did; I've been doing graphics for my own game.

"SouldreamX" did this drawing for Rockin' Kats ...

1. Updated to SDL2, input settings are incompatible with previous version so please configure input again
2. Fixed some clicking noise in the triangle channel
3. Fixed an overflow bug when filling sound buffer
