Anyone have some of the others listed above (i.e. "Hello Kitty 255 in 1", "Super Joy", "Monty on the Run (FDS Conversion)" or "Debug Mapper")?

Edit 3: According the FCEUX source, mapper 43 supports Mr. Mary, a pirate hack of Mario Bros. I cannot track down a ROM.

Edit 4: Mapper 63 is supported by Nintendulator and it calls it, "Hello Kitty 255 in 1". I cannot track down a ROM.

Edit 5: Mapper 123 is a pirate MMC3 mapper supported by FCEUX. I do not know which ROMs use it, but FCEUX refers to the mapper as H2288.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (14 People) (Unl) [!].nes

Edit 7: Mapper 126 is "Super Joy" according to Nintendulator, which is a pirate MMC3 mapper. I cannot track down a ROM.

Edit 8: Mapper 162 is a Waixing pirate ROM mapper. I do not which games use it. FCEUX suggests it is a variation of mapper 164.

Legend of Zelda - Tri Force (ES-1096) (Ch).nes
Shen Gui Chuan Qi (The Mummy) (ES-1109) (Ch).nes

Edit 9: Mapper 170 is supported by FCEUX and it looks like a very simple mapper. But, I have no clue what games uses it.

Edit 10: FCEUX calls mapper 220, "Debug Mapper" and "KS7057". As with the others, the associated ROMs are a mystery.
I wrote this comment in Mesen's code:
Code:
//Only seems to be for Gyruss (mapper 220) - other games marked as mapper 220 are not supported by any emulator that I could find (or remapped to another board type).

There are a number of 220 roms:
2-in-1 - Street Dance + Hit Mouse (Unl) [!].nes
Boogerman II (Rex-Soft) [!].nes
Desert Storm (Ch) (Wxn).nes
Gyruss (FDS Conversion,Kaiser) (Unl) [!].nes
Mortal Kombat V Pro (Unl) [!].nes
Street Fighter II - The World Warrior (Unl) [a3][!].nes

Quote:
Edit 11: According to Mesen, mapper 236 is equivalent to BMC-70IN1 for which there are UNIF ROMs.
This is likely because Nestopia assigned the same to 236 - I do not have any mapper 236 iNES rom.

Most of what I have is meant to be from the latest release of GoodNES. I did scavenge some roms from other sources here and there while trying to add support for as many mappers as I could to Mesen, but I didn't really keep track of the source, though. Aside from the mapper 220 roms, these all work in Mesen and at least 1 other emulator (since my implementations are usually based on either Nestopia or FCEUX's code)

It might be instructional to do so with those excluded.

That is certainly an option. There should probably be a ReallyGoodNES set that drops all that crap.

Seeing what proportion of games in what is regarded as the canonical ROMset is still unmappable for various devices would be a handy use of such an audit, so…at your convenience.
