My first NES project since Pong

Post by casprog » Sun Aug 19, 2018 9:54 pm

Something I've been messing around with. Will share some more details once I get a little further. I want to thank people of this forum for helping me with questions along the way! Programming for the NES is certainly a beast of its own.

Graphics are temporary, not very good with pixel art lol

Not bad for a start though. Better than my graphics. ;)

It looks like it might be a vs battle mode sort of game?

haha you got it, PvP 8 bit style! lol

And thanks guys. So far it supports loading out nametables, swapping palettes, character selection (though face is the same for now), player 1 and 2 controls, and simple platformer type jumping around. I'm going to start working on the battle component next.
