I found this on yahoo auction.
A device called FAMI-COPY with two slots (assume for copy rom from one cart to another or perhaps both slots can be used to dump roms?)
Anyone have any ideas what's this device is for?

Re: FAMI-COPY what kind of rom dumper or copy device is this
My knowledge of Japanese is very limited, but the instructions on the sticker say that the cartridge to be copied goes in slot A, and that something called "ROM Back" goes into slot B. Also, in the item description it says that it doesn't come with the "copy destination ROM", so I assume it originally came with some sort of writable cartridge you could copy games to.

I think it could be "ROM Pack" (or quite possibly, "ROM Pak"), but it is a bit hard to tell from the photo.tokumaru wrote:"ROM Back"
Anyway, supposedly more complete rough translation of the sticker:
How to use Family Copy:
1. Plug the game cassette you want to copy into the top socket A.
2. Plug the ROM Pack into the bottom socket B.
3. Plug in the power cord. Press the START button.
4. The light at '1' will flash while copying. It is over when the light at '3' lights up.
(Note: If the light at '3' flashes, please read the manual.)

That was used to copy NROM games. It usually came with a bunch of cartridges that had EPROM windows exposed and a switch to change mirroring.

I see. Never realised this device exists in the old day.
