Mapper Conversion on a Bootleg Game

Post by Azusa » Sun Dec 01, 2019 1:24 am

Hi! It's my first post on this forum and it's probably gonna sound kinda dumb. Judging by the subject, you already know what it is.
I'm trying to make a compilation ROM that I can get put onto a cartridge later on, but I wanted to have a variety of games on it.
More specifically, bootleg games. Some of the bootleg Famicom fighting games are kind of interesting, and there's 2 I'd like to have
an attempted to basically be converted to MMC3.
-Samurai Spirits Mapper Info
-Street Fighter Zero 2 '97 Mapper Info

I really hope something comes up from this.

Both games use 512 KiB of CHR-ROM, while a stock MMC3 only goes up to 256 KiB, making any such conversion impossible.

Thank you for the info. Just wanted some kind of insight on it.
