Any NES emulators support a mouse?

Post by plainsteve » Thu Jan 16, 2020 10:15 am

As we know, a SuperNES mouse can be hooked up to an NES with an adapter. Do any emulators support this?

Thanks!

Mesen does (although the support on the linux build is really janky and I wouldn't recommend it, but it's much better on windows)

FCEUX supports the SNES mouse as well, though I think Mesen has a nicer implementation.

(It also supports a form of the Subor mouse, but I don't recommend trying to use that for anything.)

Nintendulator's supported it since December 2011, mainly for the purpose of playing the game "Thwaite".
