I'd advise against that, those entries are iNES, not NES 2.0. If you want to manually handle them, clone the headers from the standard versions.

Re: NES 2.0 XML Database

Lovely update, thank you! For your own information, there are three brand spankin' new NES roms datted by no-intro, and the datestamp on the archive appears outdated (though that's purely cosmetic). Functionally, I'm happy as can be right now. New no-intro roms: Final Fantasy (Japan) (Rev 1) (3DS Vi...

I've recreated it myself directly from the MAME vsgshoe version (cat 1d, 1c, 1b, 1a, 2b, and 2a together, in that order), but I can't match the entry in the xml. Re: NES 2.0 XML Database

To clarify further, since the FDS format disk images are mandated 65500 bytes per side, the number of sides being explicitly stored is also useless information. FDS headers are entirely pointless in modern emulation.

Re: NES 2.0 XML Database

For your own information, I applied the 2020-04-22 xml to a 2020-04-22 no-intro set using the python script, and I've recorded the names of the unmatched entries in a text file. In addition to those, "Bible Adventures (USA) (v1.5) (Unl)" wasn't in the xml. Hope this helps. https://telegra....
