Re: NESMaker Kickstarter - Make NES games without coding

I'm pretty excited aboot this, it may very well be the first Kickstarter I support.

I have ideas of an Astrosmash and Ganja Farmer ports to the NES.

How long till the SNES Maker becomes a reality?

Re: Introducing the VeriSNES (FPGA-based SNES)

If an FPGA clone was based on a 1-Chip SNES would it then have a sharper picture than that of one based on the original 2 chip version?

Re: Some guy made a modloader inside an unmodified SMW cartr

Does this mean we will see SMW hacks on original cartridges soon?

I honestly don't know enough or understand code, so this is a legitimate question.

Coleco Tabletop Arcade DIY Perma Power

Today I was doing some browsing looking for an answer to a DIY Perma Power for my Coleco Tabletop Arcade machines. The mini arcades run off of 4 C-cell batteries, 4 x 1.5v. The Coleco Perma Power Adaptor is 9v. Does this mean the fake C cells with the Perma Power have resistors in them to reduce the...

Re: Introducing the VeriSNES (FPGA-based SNES)

This looks like a match made in heaven. Ill be looking forward to seeing the progression of this project, and hopefully a final product I can purchase one day. I'm not trying to derail this topic, but I couldn't help but think while reading this new topic, you appear to have the knowledge and resour...

Sorry to not contribute to you question.

May I ask where you found a clear SNES shell, I'm looking for a couple myself.

Thank you.

Would it be easier or harder if you were to use a 1-chip SNES?

Re: Empty cart shells

I would love to see a custom shell for SNES, with the esthetics of the Pal/SFC carts but allowing for a label that covers the front and top like the American SNES cart.

Re: I picked up a dead SNES consol, got a few questions.

Could be something like the adventures poot36 and I have been having. If you have a flashable cart, you could try the little test programs I put in that thread . I checked that thread too, I thought aboot making a test cart but I only have eproms for my NES repros, nothing big enough for SNES. I ha...

Re: I picked up a dead SNES consol, got a few questions.

I have tried all the obvious fixes and tests, this isn't my first dead SNES. It's actually the first one I haven't been able to resurrect. I do not have a scope so probing is out of the question. I'm starting to assume it's a bad chip, just don't know which one. It obviously has video output, but ne...
