Penises.
There has been a trend within present demoscene to include homosexual overtones and gratuitous penises.
No penises. Thank you.

Re: Disch has passed away
I may be remembering some things wrong, but I used to enjoy hanging out with him in #romhacking on EsperNet in the early 2000's. At times he would help with NESten mapper DLLs. He was a level-headed guy that enjoyed helping people and knew how to keep himself interested and not overwhelmed by his pa...

Re: Pirate Street Fighter Alpha 2
I bought one while I was vacationing in Porto Alegre, Brazil. I dumped it with a Tototek dumper and then used NSRT to resize it. It has copy protection on it. I believe Quietust or somebody cracked them for me back in the day. They should be on No-Intro somewhere.

Do you have a link for the source or the binary anywhere?
google: "czy masz link do kodu źródłowego lub programu NES?"

Re: NES audio extraction - commission work
I remember back in the day that I requested from loopy to create a mode on his NSF replayer for PowerPak to disable the PPU during NSF playback. It did minimize some of the noise. Noise will come from the PPU unless you pull it out of the board. :/ The replayer should still be somewhere here on the ...

Hey FlameCyclone,
Thanks for posting your code! I just have to say that it's just so darn, ironically hilarious that a Chinese guy is posting source code for a multicart menu. I just had to laugh!
Have a nice day!

Hrm...
Could you essentially switch in-between GB and SNES modes? Or could you have a transparent SNES mode overtop the GB display?

Aside from the latest version of NSFPlay, this is the second thing I've been super hyped about this year. Almost speechless.

Didn't see in the Wiki that the Famicom Network System (Modem) controller is added to "Default Expansion Device". Guess we could add it preemptively as "$2F" as Ben Boldt figures all this stuff out? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/6b/Nintendo-Famicom-Modem-...

Re: Oversize FDS disk images
This reminded me of all the different memory mappers used for NES/Famicom cart rips. Guess those will be emulated if we're maintaining this format.

Re: More NSF Requests
Hey MrNorbert, I tried fixing the Skate or Die 2 NSF unsuccessfully. At the moment the distortion guitar sample is a little flat (lower in frequency than it should be.) I tried cycle counting your modified PCM routine, both adding and removing NOPs (with assuring the branch operations offset correct...

Given the current schema, is VRC7+K-663A multichip NSF a thing since y'all are lumping them together?

When krzysiobal took a look at the K-663A he said that it was a bit noisier than a YM2413 anyway.

The rip is out of tune or your latest player (beta 11) and doesn't play it right?

Distortion samples seem slightly flat in frequency.
