These games will go on volume 5?
The 2019 games will be on Vol5, as well as the "trophy" cartridges whatever we decide those will be. Going forward I think it makes more sense to make a large compilation every couple of competitions so we can provide better value.

Whats the deadline to update the rom before production?
There will be a number of changes made before the cut-off. Our current focus will be Vol4, and we still don't have an ETA for that. Boards have been ordered I believe, but none of the paper products have been sent to print as far as I know.

@NesHomebrew: when you'll have time, do you think it'll be possible to have any comments from the judges on our entries? (or the score per item) - that'll be very helpful to improve my game! :)
Will do, as soon as I can get it all organized.

Re: 2019 NESDev Compo RESULTS

Updates Action53Vol4 is ready to go into production. There were some supply issues and the boards had to be redesigned, but hopefully we can get things going again once the new shipment arrives. This is going to be our biggest and best release yet! Once production begins we will correspond with the...

I'm missing the screenshots and descriptions, seems the last two compo pages don't have them.
That is true, I'm in the process of updating them. I was going to wait till I finished those to post this, but I figured people want to see the results!

Re: 2019 NESDev Compo Rules/Guidelines

So I'm pretty sure all the entries have a thread here... if you just want to download the roms for this year, you can find the link at https://neshomebrew.ca/contest19/ Or you can download the "MegaPak.zip" from the title bar, which has all the roms from every year. I'm hoping to have the voting inf...

Re: 2019 competition?

What happens if this year there are few entries? Does the comp still goes? There are already more than 5 people who have shown entries. Honestly even if there was only 1 entry they would just win :) I'm always worried there won't be many entries, but it has never been a problem in the 5 previous co...

NEW Compo Website URL

There have been a couple of questions regarding how to submit entries this year. It will be exactly the same as last year. Maybe I forgot to mention it, but with Nintendoage disappearing I have it hosted under my own domain. You will find the submission guidelines at the bottom of the 2019 Compo pag...

Re: Extending the 2019 deadline - poll

Looks like it is pretty clear. I didn't set a deadline for the poll, but from the response I think it is safe to say we can push it to the end of February.

Re: Extending the 2019 deadline - poll

The multi-cart is getting close. This time with a full 53 games. We are re-evaluating the future of the multi-cart and possibly making a smaller release for entrants only so they can get their prizes sooner, then do a full release with other non-competition entries for funding the competition.
