I've got a couple right here, globs and normal versions. The only difference I can see that you'll be able to see from the outside of the cart is the "fingers" coming off the ends of the connectors on the solder side of the PCB. On the globs, they're much shorter than the ones on the non-globbed ver...

Yeah, but given the price of the things, you wouldn't think '91. Then again, I'm cheap.

I wonder if anyone, I guess Loopy or BunnyBoy has looked into adding expansion sound to the PowerPAK mapper for FME7/Subsoft5b. It would be nice to play Gimmick on the PowerPAK with full sound someday. From what I've heard... it more or less kinda does. I don't have a PowerPak to check it out on, b...

That looks awesome. Would be nice though if it were implemented in a full cartridge PCB with FME7 on a CPLD or something though opposed to using Batman RotJ boards but it's still neat to see Gimmick like that. Yeah, would be nice... but luckily, Batman: RotJ carts are easy to come by. I had to go w...

Sorry for the thread neco, but I just wanted to thank everyone involved with this (SDM, Kevtris) for the inspiration and Kevtris especially for the help. http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/mm381/Tedescucci/GimmickAudio.jpg Uses the "PowerPak" resistor mod (47Kohm between 3 and 9 on the expansion por...

Sunsoft 5(a/b) substitute?

I'm working on getting a release out for a game that requires a Sunsoft5. Instead of buying up every friggin' Batman RotJ in sight, I'd like to just use a sub for the original chip. I seem to remember seeing a picture out there of a pirate cart that did everything in TTL, is there anymore informatio...
