Re: Is an Asian NES Region free? Strange CIC Mod

I just did the mod to a NTSC NES board and it works fine. No flashing reset without cartridge inside the console. :)

I assume you are saying krikzz decided to use a CPLD by Altera, and you guys decided to use an ARM M3-Cortex, for configuring the FPGA and SD Card interface. Okay...

Re: Famicom/Dendy SRAM cartrige

I saw a photo of the Krikz's prototype, we have totally different approaches and are likely targets. NiOS against ARM. What do you mean when you say "we have totally different approaches and are likely targets"? How is your approach different, besides using an ARM M3-Cortex instead of an Altera chi...

Re: External audio on Toploader NES with PowerPak mod

I soldered cart connector pins 51 and 54 together on the NES PowerPak with a small piece (3/4") 30 awg kynar wire. I also added a 2k one turn potentiometer between exp. pin 9 and audio out, so I can control the expansion audio volume by simply adjusting the dial on the potentiometer. It works great!...

I've really been checking out RAM Factory, and their website/YouTube videos seem more like... look what we did offerings, rather than...
