Re: Jim Power is Officially coming to NES.

We just launched the KS for the game. Finally after many years.

Here is the link: http://kck.st/361a4Pv

If you want more background info, check out the story in the campaign. If you still have any questions, let me know. I'll be checking and updating this thread periodically.

Thanks!

Re: Questforge mapper info

Ready for some Engrish? I had a quick chat with the engineer, here is what he told me: "The Flash and sram is 3.3v, We use LDO for flash's VDD, but other pin from cartridge into the flash, so, the fact voltage is 4.3v" I think he is telling me that there is less voltage actually going into the flash...

Re: Questforge mapper info

It is under my understanding that the voltage regulator (U7) on the PCB would shelter the PCB from any damage. I don't think the PCB would cause any damage to the console, since the console is the one with higher voltage. I test all our games my self, beta test that is, so I have to play through the...

Re: Wisdom Tree NOAC game collection kickstarter

Would a royalty arrangement be less onerous if the developer were willing to make the following concessions? PayPal instead of a check Quarterly payout Option for annual payout if a product hasn't made $200 (or so) in royalties since the last payout Yeah that is more flexible. And actually we have ...

Re: Wisdom Tree NOAC game collection kickstarter

But the licensing is precisely what brings in all the annoying paperwork to keep track of that Piko doesn't like. Only way to avoid that is to sell away the entire copyright (then at least it's an one-off situation rather than ongoing long term), even just giving the rights to sell a single game wo...

Re: Wisdom Tree NOAC game collection kickstarter

Been thinking about this again and: If I could give advice to homebrewers here it goes: if you don't want to deal with production, assembling, shipping, handling, marketing, sales, distribution, returns, and putting money for all those things, SELL YOUR GAME FOR CASH. The big issue is that selling ...

Re: Wisdom Tree NOAC game collection kickstarter

Whats up guys, here to answer questions! The Rockforge/Timevoyage was made by Old Wisdom Tree owners and Flopped, it wasn't made by Brenda when Brenda took over. I think they used Jungletac the company that makes Dreamgears plug and plays consoles and handhelds; link here: http://www.dreamgear.com/ ...

Re: Jim Power is Officially coming to NES.

Is it possible to change the code and patch so the background in the SNES version isn't backwards like that? Would that be a huge undertaking? I had never played the game till I read this thread it is harsh on the eyes for sure. It is done, Will do a cart release soon, also you can get the Steam ve...

Re: Looking for SNES Rom Hacker [paid work]

I don't think there is any legal trouble if we paid in full for a license or complete ownership of the games. Some of the hacking work involves fixing bugs of unreleased games, finishing up unfinished cancelled games. Polishing up and making a better version of previously released games (Jim Power f...
