How many color on some retro console
As I know, NES and PCE are use fixed color, 64 and 512. MD also uses latter, but RGB mixing, range is 0~7, much like PC-10 and VS. System. SNES, GBC, and GBA are use 32768 colors, each R/G/B range is 0~31. Wait, PS1 also uses 32768 colors! However it uses highest bit for mask. WSC seems the only one...

Re: Palette collection
Recently I’ve checked latest dev build of Nintendulator (not NRS), it has changed default palatte by slightly increase contrast, so $0* are slightly darker, $3* are slightly lighter, other color were slightly altered too. Interestingly the developer keeping update but never changed 0.985 beta the ve...

Re: Mesen - Emulator
Is it possible to set different folder on different console? Such as set save location, NES game stores in NESSAV folder, SNES game stores in SNESSAV folder.

Nestopia UE weird bug
Set Nestopia UE to open nes file, then open a nes file that in multiple folder (e.g. NESROM\NESMerge\Air Fortress\), it will fail to load configuration, why?

Re: More NSF Requests
One suggestion:
Could you move some NSFs’ sound effect after music? Such as Over Horizon the sound effect appear just after a music, not a good idea.

Re: Mesen - Emulator
Running GB/GBC game can’t freeze RAM value.
If CPU Memory, it could freeze; if another, it couldn’t.

Just wonder is Street Fighter X Mega Man has NSF…
This game's music sounds like developer produced them on FamiTracker, not on mimic stuff such as FL Studio, because proper noise sound and two 75% square waves' blurry feeling (Chun Li Stage & Ending). Just wonder is this game's developer would share NSF file on Internet…

I wish all SNES emulator could change DSP interpolation away from Gaussian
Gaussian is what interpolation the SNES SPC chip uses, but on modern device that hi-pitch cut-off sound is a bit terrible. Snes9x: can change, and it even has more option such as Sinc! GME: an audio plugin, like Snes9x's option. BSNES: can change between Gaussian and Cubic. Mesen-S: same as BSNES. -...

Is there has a better way to do GBS2FTM?
I have GBS Import (0.2) but unforunately it couldn't convert slide-up volume correctly, and couldn't detect Street Fighter 2's wave channel's slience. So is there has a better tool to do GBS2FTM? I'd love GameBoy music into NES, with less cracky square wave.
