It's currently on Balanced, the other option is Power Saver.

Re: NintendulatorNRS running slow with sound enabled
With Nintendulator, I get consistent 59-60fps with sound enabled. But others are able to use NRS without this slow-down.
Also, I compared the configs of both and can't see what's different between them that could cause this.

Re: NintendulatorNRS running slow with sound enabled
It's an i5-3210M, could that be the reason?

Kind of close to that, yeah. 8 year old laptop, 6 GB RAM, 2.5GHz, i5.

NintendulatorNRS running slow with sound enabled
I wanted to try some of the obscure bootleg games with this emulator. When sound is enabled, the FPS is 40 or lower. Disables it brings it back to regular speed. This was with version 0.975. On the latest, 0.981, the speed does approach 60fps but still often dips. Is there a setting to fix this, or ...

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer
I see. Thank you for the detailed response, it's really appreciated. It's because we're looking to get a sample game dumped and the Kazzo was the only reliable one do to it in terms of cost, simple setup, etc. I'll keep an eye out for the original device.

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer
I checked the supported mapper list on gitlab for the new Kazzo device and it seems to support fewer mappers than I recall the older one did. Can any of the old scripts be brought over for use with the new device, or would they have to be re-written?

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer
Thanks for the fast response! I see, now. I'm a total beginner with this aspect of ROM dumps, so that's good to know. Going by this, regarding several of the NES prototypes featured on Nintendoplayer.com that are only apparently different in the header, those would be the result of the dumper used a...

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer
So my suspicion arose with the Kazzo with a recent attempt at a ROM dump. I have a prototype game (MMC3) that I dumped, which only appeared to differ from the retail by one byte at a specific position in the header (booooo!). I found it peculiar because someone else dumped a different prototype copy...

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer
Thanks a lot, it worked!
Really glad there's progress on supporting mappers with this device.

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer
Sorry for the delay, had some real serious things to handle. http://i.imgur.com/FQhctg9.png Not too clear, but most settings are default exactly the way they are when the program is first downloaded. The only thing gets adjusted is of course the script. the colordreams script is available in the dro...

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer
Hmm. I wonder what could be the problem then. It plays from the cartridge, just doesn't dump properly. It is a proto, however.

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer
Alright, I tried it this time and it did create a ROM file for the games, however they're both 98 kb and don't work in emulators. The games are prototypes, one is of the game Moon Ranger and the other is an unreleased title. Any additional information I could supply to look further into this? mirro...
