Re: Retro Game Builder (make your own snes games)

I am aware that the SNES has several "modes" for example one of the most famous is mode 7, but there are other modes as well. How will handling the various modes of the system?

What options for ROM sizes will be available? 1mb,2mb,4mb rom sizes?

Re: Minecraft Clone on the NES

I think someone using NESmaker already did something like this. It was called XIO or something. The controls were confusing at first but you mine blocks and then relocate them. Look up 2019 byte off games to find it.

I also create comic book characters

You may know me from my NES Force Bot game that I am working on, but I also work on tons of other stuff too. Since the early 2000's I've been creating comic book characters and would like to make an actual comic book one day. I finally decided to show off one of the comics. Here is my Twitter: https...

So after working on this thing a ton, I think I finally got the sticker label done. The neon lines are the bleed lines that extend the artwork a little and the fold at the top of the sticker for the end label.

Re: Force Bot - A brand new game for the NES [homebrew]

The box and sticker artwork is coming along.

Also let me know if you want to see me stream some NES games on Twitch. I don't have the best setup, but it might be fun anyway.

Re: Force Bot - A brand new game for the NES [homebrew]

I created a Twitter account for the game. Follow me on Twitter for all the latest news and such regarding the game. https://twitter.com/ForceBot3 Currently I'm working on the rest of the artwork for the box and sticker label. I would like to do a kickstarter for the game possibly this year and am wo...

Re: SaveTheKuin: action-adventure

I got the sword. I then walked into a cave with arrows and then got shot and died.

Some of the music notes last for too long and make everything seem to drag. It was hard to cut grass because the character felt like he was on a grid.

Re: Böbl

Everything about the game is excellent. Music, graphics and gameplay, programming. It's all there. I didn't beat it. But also didn't look at those maps someone posted.

Very cool idea and the polish is 10/10!

Re: Progress Thread - Blockage (formerly "Slide Game")

This is an interesting game mechanic and can be very engaging to sit down and fiddle with. I sometimes just spammed the D-pad until I won. You need to have some patients though with this one. Over all nice job.

Is my SNES dead?

So today I turned on SNES just like I usually do and to my surprise it started acting strange. The image was wobbly and dickering and such, so because I have an sd2snes I went right to those Tools and started checking things. This is my original SNES since the 90's when I was a kid. I remember runni...

GB Studio

I just found out about this and didn't see a thread about it. It seems to be a program where you can make your own GB games.
