Posted a new video in the first thread.

Status news: There's very little left now. I got the ending done, so I just need to go back and revise dialogue. The intro stage's end scene is actually proper now, heh.

I anticipate a May release.

Yeah. They do CHR RAM for a lot of the animations such as the waterfall in stage 1, the snakes in the snake pit, etc.

Can a 512kb UxROM board be made easily?

Topic says it all. I think that I want to expand my game so I won't have to worry about space. To do this, the next size up is 512kb. I don't think this configuration was ever used in any game, so that's why I'm asking. It'll solve a lot of problems for sure. 8) And... regarding flash memory, I know...

Just a status report: The map is 100% including the final area. There will be some tiny extra rooms for the final boss and whatnot, but none will contain enemies, so yay. All I have to do now is make a final boss and then do the extra little stuff like scenes, events, some more music tracks, and all...

Might be something worth looking at for a future project. The arpeggio is one thing that is missing from the engine I use.

I think the timing of letting go of the A right before hitting the wall was more difficult going left than right for some reason. Maybe it should be modified so that you cling no matter what, but you have to release and then press A again to jump off? Might be easier/less frustrating. I could make ...

Any thoughts about completely removing the discussion with the boss after he kills you for the first time or two? I finally put together a demo of this thing. Included is the intro stage, the main base, the first boss, and a bit of the caves that follow.
