I use it all the time in tandem with emulators that do not view headers properly. It's a great tool.

A straight converter that's simply routing pins will not provide any additional logic that may affect address mapping or program changes. There is likely something that happened in that instance. We'll still have to do the research.

Is there any program made that can analyze a decap picture through filters and bitmap (with proper image setup and formatting) to create a dump?

I'm not sure what I'm looking at regarding which is a 0 and which is a 1 regarding the decoding ROM decap...
