Unfortunately that's easier said than done...
Yea, I've kept up with your issues with the RetroUSB cases during the Streamzer bundle project. That's why I didn't even list it as an option, even with my usual disclaimer :)

Re: NES Cart PCB Dimensions

INL, would you be willing to share the positions and sizes of the other drill hits for the mechanical holes you have in your boards? I'm working on a set of open hardware files for prototyping.

Re: NES Cart PCB Dimensions

Nero-bump for great justice! I notice that the boards I got from INL seem to use this outline. When I built my own board outline using these dimensions I noted that the left-hand notch is lower than the right-hand notch. Is this intentional and correct? Also, can anyone confirm my assumption that th...

That's awesome! Can you paste in the offending line so I can track it down?

Re: NES cart production

Also thought I'd point out that INL's boards fit nicely in my Yobo clone connector. Not sure what the actual pitch is though. I don't have any calipers :(

Re: NES cart production

infiniteneslives.com sells pre-assembled boards (including flash, ram and battery) for a few popular mappers including Color Dreams, MMC1, MMC3 and FME7, and can do just about any discrete mapper you want by special request. These boards can then be programmed using the programmer board available at...

Re: uc65, a Mid-Level Language Compiler READY FOR USE!

Wow folks, I'm floored by the amount of interest! Thank you so much! I wish I weren't so swamped with work at the moment and could whip all this up into shape. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to make another release that reduces all the confusion. The "simple" example uses MMC3 with character RA...

Re: uc65, a Mid-Level Language Compiler READY FOR USE!

Can you please confirm which release you are using? 0.5-rc3 (attached to the first post) is the most recent release and has these issues corrected. As for build.sh, I'm not sure it's going to work well under msys / cygwin. Again, this is why I'm not wanting to roll my own build system :) Also, can y...

I'm sure glad you brought it up. The next time I get the itch to play this game I'll try this hack. I play it about once a year since I first tried in about six years ago.

Re: NESDev Compo Poll

I can appreciate that :) I work for a retailer, and Thanksgiving week is pretty much hair-on-fire time. The only time I have to post on here is when I'm eating a meal, at work, in front on my computer

At least I get to take Christmas off :)

Re: uc65, a Mid-Level Language Compiler READY FOR USE!

That'd be awesome cpow! :) But yea, if you have an existing makefile for cc65, you can define another rule that builds .s files from .uc files and that's that. There's even a make-style dependency generation flag for uc65.

Re: uc65, a Mid-Level Language Compiler READY FOR USE!

There's been a lot of misconceptions about the goals of uc65. The intent was never to provide a user-friendly development environment, it was to provide a more efficient, in terms of development effort, development tool that was reasonably efficient in terms of resource utilization on the target pla...

Re: an NROM to a cart with WRAM

I say "most" because the clones that are the most readily available as a stand-alone system (at least where I live) all seem to be based off the same NOAC which ignores this signal.
