Re: Annoyance with Allegro + key polling

In what scope does char my_key=0; execute? Global or within a function? This will help me figure out whether it's a static or automatic variable. It's static and set to zero on emulator launch only. Are you calling poll_keyboard() ? What does keyboard_needs_poll() return? Not calling it. keyboard_n...

Annoyance with Allegro + key polling

Hi. I'm having an annoyance in my code. Such problem wasn't present in the previous version of my program. Basically... Allegro has a volatile char key[MAX_KEYS] array that holds the state of each keyboard key, as 0 (released) or -1 (pressed). More info here . In order to avoid a deadlock on checkin...

Re: SMB Title Screen isn't rendering in a proper way & more

Hmm... Try checking $2007 reads, the 1-byte buffered stuff.
Another point is the PPU address. Look at writes to $2007 and how the address is handled there.

Re: how to add a mapper to nes emulator?

First, I want to work through understanding the PlayStation 3 requirement and lack of motivation to learn English. That was my second thought. I gave a look at the sources - it's all there, intact. So, compiling wouldn't be that hard once you know the required stuff for it. However, I see an unnece...

Re: how to add a mapper to nes emulator?

It's true, nobody cares. Hold on a minute... I don't think many people here even know how to code PS3 programs, but even if they did, this is not a simple 5 minute job. OK, so I gave a look at the sources of this multi-emulator. It's a 43 megs of source from MANY emulators, not only Mednafen. The s...

Why do you want a read from $4000-$4013 after all???

Re: How to compile fceux?

To compile and install FCEUX for SDL, follow the instructions in the README-SDL.md file. Users of Microsoft Visual Studio can use the solution files within the vc directory. These solution files will compile FCEUX and some included libraries for full functionality. CMake has been depreciated in fav...
