Didn't that company 'Messiah' make some kind of wireless NES controllers? Maybe you could pull the the parts out of those, and wire it into the satellite's housing(s). Maybe the receiver was built into their system, I don't know. Unless you bought the limited edition controllers that came in tins w...

There have been a lot of people on NA who have done limited runs and then released the rom to the public. I'm sure you could sell 100 pre-pay very easily on NintendoAge for $30 cart only or $55 CIB. Uncle Tusk makes some nice boxes, and people like Coinheaven (Nesdump.com) do LE runs all the time. W...

Cool, but the fact that the Game Genie is known for ruining cartridge slots makes it slightly less cool. Just do what I did. Solder a connector from a broken game genie directly to the motherboard, then make a custom case for it (or cut a hole in the back). Unfortunately their isn't enough room for...

That's another aspect to consider if you plan on making carts, since AFAIK there aren't MMC3 clones available for building new carts, meaning that for each copy of your game you are gonna have to destroy an original MMC3 game. If you partner with RetroZone it's pretty likely that a MMC3 clone can b...

http://nesdev.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?p=20873&sid=5b72eb5c027aea23d696ca915073c065 maybe that can help? Well, the only problem is that apparently Konami switched things up on those boards. I had intended my donor to be a regular Nintendo brand UNROM board. http://nesdev.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=4977&s...

I guess my wife won't be getting her present on time :(. Well, here is an update. I followed the instructions to a tee, and my results turned out negative. Not a bleep, not a bloop, nothing! I checked all the connections for continuity, as well as the proper voltages with the system running. I'll re...
