I think that thing basically just dumps the rom though, and the difference with this is that it would actually be playing the game directly off the game accessing it every cycle like the NES does. Is that the idea? Yes, it is the idea; you are accessing the game directly from the cartridge, and no ...

I wonder. The problem with just intonation is that for example the ratio of a C/G 5th is not the same as for a D/A 5th, which I think is weird. So you have to "choose" your base note. It is true, that is why equal temperament exists. Both are suitable for writing music as long as you write the corr...

Is source codes available and is there feature for using alternative temperament (such as just intonation for example), or be able to enter some of the assembly language codes for callbacks directly in your .mml file?

It is a good idea to use Vorbis instead of MP3 whenever it is possible to do so (Vorbis is also free of patents). Many useful things about it on here are also written by tepples. Thanks for typing this. About dissonant chords, harmonics, etc: Also know there is difference between equal temperament (...

Sound an awful lot like the USB copynes with extra feature to me :) Would be cool, but I don't really see it happening unless you're planning on personnally doing it. If I can figure it out, I might do it myself. If you can make it solderless, that could be one advantage over a CopyNES. We will see...

Pitch of cartridge pins connector discussion

I have idea to make a new hardware related to NES/Famicom. It has USB to connect to a computer (or other unit that you can connect USB devices to), both 60-pin and 72-pin slot, and a built-in filesystem. It could also have other kind of connections other than USB if needed. Either have a read-only ...

Lan Master and Lawn Mower and Thwaite is good. Super Bat Puncher Demo is good too but this is a demo version hopefully the full version would fix some things such as adding timed mode and fix the continue option, and more levels. I have other ideas and stuff too but at this time I will not type it r...

You can also use SoX to play any file as audio. To play sound of uncompressed pictures, you can pipe the output from the ImageMagick "stream" command to SoX.

Adding an HTTP Referer header check would be completely unreliable when it comes to a method of "security" or blocking mechanism. Let them link here all they want -- tepples' post is sufficient. They haven't appeared/caused any issues since he put the post up. OK, then. Nothing else other than this...

Which is strange since they link directly to this forum (and I see nothing else there).

One thing you could do, is temporarily add a refer check in case they try to redirect you to here?

I have not posted the program yet, but I have made three files (one of which uses custom tuning).

Here they are (not much yet, sorry): http://zzo38computer.org/prog/mck/music/

RPN? Let me guess: You're putting in something like FALSE . There exists a compiler for FALSE whose MC68000 object code size is 1024 bytes. Now you're talking sense. Something like that might do, but probably not exactly FALSE, just similar, modified in a way that is best for this kind of things. I...

Absolutely no relation (as far as I know). (To tell the difference, call my program always "stroker.gb" (and without capitalizing it).)

It is a sixteen bit number I need to divide, and some registers are already in use. But I can learn from the examples. (It is being used in PPMCK, like I said I already have divide by two working, because it is just right shift. Do you know what PPMCK is?)
