Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer

Alright, I tried it this time and it did create a ROM file for the games, however they're both 98 kb and don't work in emulators.
The games are prototypes, one is of the game Moon Ranger and the other is an unreleased title. Any additional information I could supply to look further into this?

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer

... I tried that script for dumping one of Color Dreams game, I got this error message: AN ERROR HAS OCCURED [the index 'cpu_dump' does not exist] That was only the beginning of a script. I have submitted the whole script to the git repo, you can fetch the pending copy at: https://github.com/Werroc...

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer

I did the following test: board <- { mappernum = 11, cpu_rom = { size_base = 1 * mega, size_max = 1 * mega, banksize = 0x8000 }, ppu_rom = { size_base = 1 * mega, size_max = 1 * mega, banksize = 0x2000 }, cpu_romsize = 1 * mega, cpu_banksize = 0x8000, ppu_romsize = 1 * mega, ppu_banksize = 0x2000, ...

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer

If someone would like to make a nice neat .zip download of scripts that aren't currently distributed with my dropbox .zip along with the readme and drivers etc I can add them in. Yeah, this would be great to have an updated list of scripts available. Also, was a script made for mapper 11 Color Drea...

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer

I read that for AOROM games, you can use this anrom script through the command line version of anago (instead of gui): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18341918/kazzo/kazzo%20original/unagi_client_windows_060_commandline/anago/anrom.ad If it doesn't work, try this. Open the script in wordpad and ...

Re: Questions about the anago dumping scripts

According to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=10908&view=previous

The anrom.ad can be used to dump aorom, at least Battletoads? That would solve the issue in a way.

Still hoping for information on the various mmc3 scripts present.

Questions about the anago dumping scripts

In the anago folders (command line and gui versions), I found multiple script files: -mmc3.ad -mmc3_v2.ad -mmc3.ag Which of these should be used for dumping mmc3 games, or when should each of them be used? Also, how would one go about dumping AOROM games, since there is no aorom script available in ...

Re: Kazzo USB rom dumper / dev cart programmer

Hoping someone can help me with this. I've fired up my Kazzo on my Windows XP machine finally. Followed all of the installation steps; everything seems to have gone smoothly, but the only difference is that even after changing the device's firmware to the Kazzo's (for dumping), it still appears as I...

Re: mmc3 proto board

I'll probably expand this topic in the General sub-forum, but focused more on the seller. Despite all of the suspicious aspects, some people believe it could be legitimate. I'd love to get a solid word on this to be sure.

Re: mmc3 proto board

Yeah that's basically what all this guys SNES/SFC protos are. All on the same type of long board (but not what's shown in that link). After asking him if he has protos of another game series, from a different account, and he gave a parallel answer (replace all instances of the first series with the ...

Re: mmc3 proto board

Ok, so he can indeed download an (mmc3) NES ROM off the internet, burn it to some EPROMs, put them on a PCB in an FDS RAM adapter; it'll work, so he can pass it off as a genuine prototype version of the game. I don't doubt that the PCB is real; he probably has one or more of them for this purpose, a...

Re: mmc3 proto board

No, its because I'm worried whether the guy is selling a legitimate prototype of the game, or if it could just be the retail game on eproms. He's asking for quite a price, so I'm wondering if its possible he's passing off a fake. Obviously, I don't want to be ripped off. As I said, all his other pro...

mmc3 proto board

A few game prototypes on FDS RAM adapters surfaced online over the years, for example on Yahoo Japan Auction. Most of these that I've seen are mmc3 mapper-based games. A seller I contacted claims to have such a prototype of a game, and it's also mmc3. But I'm kind of hesitant about buying, because e...
