hello i,am new to this forum and hope any of you can help me out here.
i,am pretty stuck creating a repro using deja vu as a donor cart i have followed the callenbrown,s tutorial for the creation of MMC3 repro,s
i have programmed the eeproms and soldered them using the TK and TSrom shemes
but when i put it in my nes it just shows me a white screen tryed multiple nesses and still no luck
i,am posting a picture of my crummy work maybe some of you know what i have done wrong?
thanks in advanced!

Re: stuck creating repro dejavu / earthbound zero
These always come to mind:
A) Cart is dirty (it looks it)
B) Not enough solder on the chip legs?
C) When desoldering you ripped off part of the board, or metal tracks.
D) Maybe you didn't ground the PRG to pin 16 correctly?

Re: stuck creating repro dejavu / earthbound zero
thanks for you reply
A) Cart is dirty (it looks it)
oke ill try to clean it using some alchohol and or a eraser but the cart worked perfect before.
B) Not enough solder on the chip legs?
like i sayd its crummy work just to test if it would work i could retry to solder all of the legs using a bit more flux?
C) When desoldering you ripped off part of the board, or metal tracks.
i used a desoldering iron that vacumed up all the liquid solder so it was desoldered pretty clean so that should be finde i think?
D) Maybe you didn't ground the PRG to pin 16 correctly?
hmmm this is a good one i used the following pin sheme
TKROM & TSROM (mapper 4):
PRG socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 24, 30 and 31 (or cut tracks 2, 24, 30 and 31)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 24 to GND (OE)
Solder pin 30 to hole 1 (A17)
Solder pin 31 to hole 2 (A18)
CHR socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 22, 24, 30, 31 (or cut tracks 2, 22, 24 and 30)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 22 to hole 31 (CE or CHR /A13)
Solder pin 24 to hole 2 (OE or CHR /RD)
Solder pin 30 to hole 1 (A17)
and it does not state anything about pin 16 ? so this could mean that i have to ground that leg? should i desolder the leg and not connect it at all in the hole?
or can i just solder it to a ground point while it is soldered in the hole?
p.s. i see i have also used callenbrowns site and i also followed his diagram stating to ground pin 16 on pin 24 but could i better try to ground pin 16 in hole 24? instead of the pin 24?

Re: stuck creating repro dejavu / earthbound zero
You bend up pin 24 and solder a wire from it to pin 16 thats not bent up. pin 16 is the GRD

Same exact repro I did years ago. Good Luck!
