MC-ACC IRQ Behavior?

Post by Fumarumota »

Hello there,

Just wondering if there's any notable difference between the MC-ACC and the MMC3 when it comes to IRQ behavior (or any other aspect, really).

I've read here in the forums and in the MMC3 wiki page that one difference is that the MC-ACC clocks the IRQ counter on falling edges instead of rising edges. But is there any other known detail that could be relevant for emulation?

Thanks in advance!

Given that I was involved in the thread from 3 years ago (whole thread is worth reading), AFAIK there have been no other developments/findings pertaining to Acclaim's chip other than what's listed on the wiki.

Some questions/etc. were brought up 2 years ago (you'll need to read the full thread though -- as with too many threads around here, they snowball into a zillion pages).
