I'm planning on purchasing a japanese Famicom console, but I've learned that it only comes with a standard antenna-cable connection (sorry for possible poor english ), and using it on a PAL TV results in low-quality audio.
Is it true? Anyone got experience with this?
Famicom on PAL TV?

Audio/video multiplexing in NTSC over RF operates on the M system. To demultiplex correct audio out of an M system signal, you're going to need a tuner that supports the M system. Any VCR intended for use in North America, Japan, or Korea will do. Connect the Famicom to the VCR's RF input and connect the VCR's composite outputs to your multi-system TV.
