Worth reading just for the little tidbit at the end, in my opinion.

Well, also because "the guy who drew the bloody hand in NESticle was also a senior scriptwriter on Watch Dogs 2" is a success story if I've ever heard one.

I haven't played this game much, but... maybe "Let's go!" with an italian accent?

Sure it's totally more plausible!
But wouldn't it be fun if it wasn't?

I was remembering the game's voices, specially the old NES ones.
Most of the time, back on the day, I was left wondering what was being said...
I remember that I tought the game Final Mission said on the 1st stage "Tche mas que baita bafo", but nowadays it sounds to me like "There's a base to past off ".
I'm not sure if the later is correct, but the first definitely is not!

That's a strange one.

To me it sounds like a (grammatically incorrect): "You is about to battle!"

It could also be something in Japanese, but I can't really pick out any syllables. (The other samples sound like very accented English to me, too, but are hard to understand.)

I never realized how different the intro was for the Japanese version. I'd only seen the localized S.C.A.T. (which also has a much different voice sample to start the level).

I'm getting something like "Go! Prepare for battle!".

All the voices before each stage sounds kind of strange in that game.
Some people say that the US version got better voices, but I'm not very sure...
They're easier to understand because there's the text on the screen.

I also remember that me and the other kids were very afraid of the famous Sagat's "Tiger Robocop" back on the day. :P
Maybe I should open a new thread to discuss this...
