Hi!

FamiStudio 3.0.0 was just released. Here is the video trailer.

  • Redesigned FamiStudio tempo
  • Redesigned note editing
  • MIDI import/export support
  • Oscilloscope in toolbar
  • Optional scrollbars
  • Revamped Mac version
  • 1/2 and 1/4 playback speed
  • Configurable QWERTY keyboard keys
  • Improved sound engine music data compression (15-30% smaller)
  • Audio expansion volume/low-pass filter configuration
  • S5B and VRC7 and now properly low-pass filtered
  • Ability to re-order songs
  • Hi-DPI support on Linux
  • Quick DPCM source data reload
  • Improved video rendering speed

The note dragging and multi select improvements are huge, especially for someone used to FL studio. I'm excited. Congrats on release!

Aww thanks!

In all fairness, you could always drag and select notes just like this (at least for the last year and half). What has changed is the ability to resize them. Before that, notes would go on forever and we had to insert "stop notes" which were a legacy from Famitracker. Things felt very awkward.

But I'm sure that's what you meant!! :D
