Schematics for a composite mod ina a French NES

Post by nuno14272 » Tue Nov 07, 2017 10:03 am

Hello there,

my first post.

I have tree french nes... this model is very peculiar... doesn't have RF modulator or composite... has a customized multi-AV (not compatible with SNES and more recent consoles).

her'es the foto

Yes, it says RGB.. but in reality is a composite to some kind of rgb converter... not great quality in image.

So, due to this low quality image, and the low avaiability of cables, and the price os the ones i found, i was looking in the web for a mod to extract the composite signal, while maintainning the possibility to use the original cable...

So i make this scheamatics, with some improvments over the original scheme...

I'm looking for your opinions before have it a go !!

if your feedback is positive, i'm going for it,...

thank you.

I tentatively think that would work ok. At least, I don't see anything obviously wrong with it.

If you would be willing to sit down with the PAL-to-SCART converting module there, it'd be nice to document what its pinout is.
