Just looks like a famicom glob board with the NES-JOINT adapter, like Gyromite etc.

Since there's only 2 globs, it's probably NROM?

By the label, the game seems fairly well known. Might be a prototype version of it? Or could just be the finished game sent out as a sample. Doesn't look like it was published outside of Japan so maybe they were shopping it around in North America.

I find it highly unlikely that it would be a prototype, given that the board has glop-top ROMs (which are a fairly definitive sign of being mass-produced)...
